• CBRF Certification Classes

  Caregivers, facility owners, and administrators in Wisconsin are required to complete CBRF certification to work in assisted living facilities, group homes, and similar residential settings. Cyndee CBRF Training, LLC provides state-approved courses designed to equip professionals with the skills needed to deliver safe and effective care.

  Our live, instructor-led Zoom sessions cover all four state-required courses—Standard Precautions, Fire Safety, First Aid and Choking, and Medication Administration and Management—using a curriculum developed by the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay and approved by the Wisconsin Department of Health Services.

  Upon successful completion, participants are added to the Wisconsin Community-Based Care and Treatment Training Registry, verifying their certification for employers and regulatory agencies.

• Caregiver Continuing Education

  Wisconsin regulations require caregivers in CBRFs to complete 15 hours of continuing education annually (DHS 83.25) to maintain compliance and enhance their caregiving skills. Our self-study eLearning courses provide a flexible, convenient way to meet this requirement while expanding knowledge in essential areas of resident care.

  We offer a 15-course continuing education package, covering core topics such as Fire Safety, First Aid and Choking, Medication Administration, Resident Rights, and Standard Precautions, along with additional courses on Covid-19, Food Safety, Workplace Violence Prevention, and more.

  Courses are entirely self-paced, include an online study guide, and provide a downloadable certificate upon completion.

• First Aid/CPR/AED Training

  Emergencies can happen anywhere, and having the right training can make a lifesaving difference. Our American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED training provides individuals with the essential skills to respond confidently in medical emergencies, such as cardiac arrest, choking, and injuries.

  This course covers basic first aid, CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation), and the proper use of an AED (automated external defibrillator). There are no age restrictions—if you can complete the required activities and meet CPR performance standards, you can become certified.

• CBRF Administrator Course

  Considering opening a CBRF or Adult Family Home? Whether you're an owner, administrator, or preparing to run a licensed care facility, understanding Wisconsin’s licensing process, training requirements, and state regulations is essential.

  The CBRF Administrator Course provides the necessary knowledge to oversee facility operations, staff supervision, resident rights, risk management, and regulatory compliance. Completing this training is a key step toward meeting DHS 83 licensing requirements for CBRFs and DHS 88 requirements for Adult Family Homes.
