We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Personal Assistant to join our care team. This role includes supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, dementia, and other healthcare needs. You will help clients maintain their independence and improve their quality of life in a home setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with daily living tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
Give medication as directed
Check and record vital signs
Help with meal planning, preparation, and feeding
Drive clients to medical appointments if needed
Encourage participation in activities and community outings
Support behavior plans for individuals with autism or behavioral challenges
Offer short-term childcare or respite care when needed
Create a safe environment for clients with dementia
Protect client privacy and follow HIPAA rules
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Work experience in home care or healthcare is a plus
Familiarity with autism, dementia, or developmental disabilities
Ability to check vitals is helpful
Good communication and recordkeeping skills
Compassionate, patient, and dependable attitude

1st Shift - 6:00am to 2:00pm

Compensation and Benefits:

Qualifications:

Pine Brook Pointe in Burlington, WI is looking for Competent and Compassionate Caregivers / CNAs to care for our residents. We are seeking a candidate who wants to feel the kindness and appreciation from our amazing group of seniors daily. The ideal candidate will be a dependable, patient, friendly self starter with excellent communication skills.
Hiring all shifts:
1st shift - 6:30am - 3pm
2nd shift - 2:30pm - 11pm
3rd shift - 10:30pm - 7am
Starting rate is $15-$17 / hour based on experience. Bonuses given for picking up non scheduled shifts to help when needed.
Responsibilities:
Assisting residents with activities of daily living
Providing personal cares such as assisting to the restroom, perineal care, catheter care and showering assistance
Serving food during meals
Passing medications (once trained)
Assisting residents with transfers
Communicating with management about new changes of condition
Caring for people with a variety of illnesses, including: Parkinson's, Dementia, COPD, etc.
Laundry services, garbage removal, and keeping rooms looking good between housekeeping services
We Provide:
Education: We will send you to get your CBRF certifications (paid for by Pine Brook Pointe with a one year employment commitment), we provide monthly in-services to help further education in this field. In services may include: dementia care, resident rights, etc.
Training: We provide on the job training, and ensure you have all the knowledge and resources before having you work on your own. Once you are working "on your own" you won't ever actually be alone. There are always other caregivers in the building, and we all work as a team to make sure our residents are getting the best care possible.
