We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Personal Assistant to join our care team. This role includes supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, dementia, and other healthcare needs. You will help clients maintain their independence and improve their quality of life in a home setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with daily living tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
Give medication as directed
Check and record vital signs
Help with meal planning, preparation, and feeding
Drive clients to medical appointments if needed
Encourage participation in activities and community outings
Support behavior plans for individuals with autism or behavioral challenges
Offer short-term childcare or respite care when needed
Create a safe environment for clients with dementia
Protect client privacy and follow HIPAA rules
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Work experience in home care or healthcare is a plus
Familiarity with autism, dementia, or developmental disabilities
Ability to check vitals is helpful
Good communication and recordkeeping skills
Compassionate, patient, and dependable attitude

Shifts Available:
Full-time and part-time caregiver positions available, with every other weekend scheduled off.
1st Shift - 6:00am to 2:00pm
2nd Shift - 2:00pm to 10:00pm
3rd Shift - 10:00pm to 6:00am

While Rolling Meadows is not a nursing home, we offer enhanced care in a personalized setting to those without cognitive decline and to those living with memory loss, Alzheimer's disease, or other forms of dementia.
In addition, our on-site Registered Nurse oversees the medical and pharmacological needs of our residents and works with their providers to ensure all skilled medical needs are met. Job Description
Immediate Caregiver/Med Tech Needed
Are you passionate about providing exceptional care to seniors in a warm and inviting environment? Do you thrive in a dynamic and compassionate workplace?
What You'll Do:
Provide physical and psychosocial support to residents
Assist with daily tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
Ensure the well-being and comfort of residents within your scope of training
Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to meet the medical needs of residents
What We're Looking For:
High school diploma or GED
Ability to provide care to seniors, including those with dementia
Positive attitude and mature behavior
Good communication and organizational skills
Ability to maintain a consistent work schedule
